Research transfer group

The research transference and development group is a young group of the computing area at BIFI, composed mainly of young computing engineers. In this area, three different tasks are mainly carried out:

  • Support for the research activity of the institute participating in the development of projects that require software development. This group also gives support for the improvement and optimization of programs that already exists, just as consulting for choosing the best technologies and techniques for their development.

  • Development of projects in collaboration with companies in topics or points in which BIFI works, with the aim of giving extra value to their products and production processes that also differentiates them from their rivals.

  • Research in their own points of work, such as the 3D visualization laboratory, the augmented reality laboratory, remote plication development, and the use of mobile platforms with different goals from the education improvement to the production process optimization.
