3D Visualization Lounge
BIFI has developed its own 3D stereo system in order to visualize results of its different kinds of simulations.
The setup includes 2 projectors and a polarized screen where using retroprojection the stereo images are displayed. It is also necessary special circular polarized glasses to visualize the 3d effect.
Currently, the most interesting applications are in the fields of fusion and biochemical research. In the case of fusion, BIFI has developped its own simulations in collaboration with CIEMAT and graphical applications from scratch, counting with a coupled collaboration among physicists and computer engineers.
