Edificio Cervantes

BIFI is currently located in Edificio Cervantes ("Cervantes building"), Corona de Aragón Street, in the City of Zaragoza (Spain).

The building housed for years a public school and had fallen into disuse for some time. After hard negotiations with Zaragoza City Council, Aragón Regional Government and the University of Zaragoza, we moved to the building in November 2003.

The building consists of 3 floors, from which we use the first and part of the second. In total, our facilities comprise 8 offices, 4 laboratories, 1 3D visualization lounge, 1 videoconference room and the secretary's office. We also make use of the Meeting Room and the Conference/Seminar Room in the ground floor.

Edificio Cervantes is the regular workplace for around 30 people including BIFI members, researchers, visitors, technicians and administrative staff.
