SUMMARY:IX International BIFI 2020 Conference
DESCRIPTION:The IX International BIFI 2020 Conference will take place in Zaragoza\, in the auditorium of the R+D Building\, Río Ebro Campus (Actur)\, from February 3rd to 5th\, 2020. \nOn this occasion the Conference will be focused on “New Challenges in Molecular Biotechnology“. Thus\, we have prepared a scientific program with national and international speakers that we believe is very attractive. The event format includes plenary sessions with 18 talks by invited speakers\, 5 of which will be given by prominent researchers who conduct their research in renowned research centers such as the Pasteur Institute in Paris\, the Mitochondrial Biology Unit in Cambridge\, the Estación Experimental de Aula Dei (CSIC ) in Zaragoza\, the Rocasolano Institute in Madrid\, and the Laboratory of Systems Biochemistry (CIB-CSIC) also in Madrid. In addition\, nine of the works submitted will be chosen to give short oral talks of 12 min (+3 question-minutes). Two Poster sessions have been scheduled from which two works presented in this modality will be awarded with the amounts of €300 (First prize) and €200 (Second prize). \nWe warmly invite young and not so young researchers\, and also students\, to attend this new edition of our biennial conference and to send scientific communications related to the main tracks of the event. Our main purpose is giving you the opportunity to communicate your research and to create and/or strengthen new scientific collaborations. \nRegistration deadlines will be December 20th (Early) and January 10th (Late)\, with different registration fees in each case (see the different options on the event site). Notification by the Organizing Committee to those whose works were chosen to give short oral talks will be made at the latest on January 17th\, 2020. \nOn the website of the event (http://bifi20.bifi.es/) you will find all the necessary information to register\, also the Scientific Program\, as well as important aspects about the BIFI Institute (the venue of the Conference)\, the city of Zaragoza\, and more. \nIf you are interested in attending\, please register as soon as possible. \nWe welcome you in Zaragoza.

DESCRIPTION:La IX Conferencia Internacional BIFI 2020 tendrá lugar en Zaragoza\, en el salón de actos del Edificio I+D\, Campus Río Ebro (Actur)\, del 3 al 5 de febrero del año próximo 2020. \nEn esta ocasión (la conferencia) está enfocada en “Nuevos retos en Biotecnología Molecular (New Challenges in Molecular Biotechnology). Así\, hemos preparado un programa científico con oradores invitados nacionales e internacionales que creemos que es muy atractivo. El formato del evento incluye sesiones plenarias con 18 charlas\, 5 de las cuales serán impartidas por prominentes investigadores que realizan su investigación en reconocidos centros como el Instituto Pasteur de Paris\, la Unidad de Biología Mitocondrial de Cambridge\, la Estación Experimental de Aula Dei (CSIC) de Zaragoza\, el Instituto Rocasolano de Madrid\, y el Laboratorio de Sistemas Bioquímicos (CIB-CSIC)\, también de Madrid. Nueve de los trabajos inscritos serán elegidos para impartir charlas cortas de 12 min (+3 de preguntas) y se han programado dos sesiones para la presentación de pósters de los cuales serán premiados dos con las cantidades de 300€ (Primer premio) y 200€ (Segundo premio). \nInvitamos cordialmente a los investigadores jóvenes y a aquellos no tan jóvenes\, también a estudiantes\, a asistir a esta nueva edición de nuestra Conferencia bienual y a enviar comunicaciones científicas relacionadas con los temas principales del evento. Queremos en este marco brindaros la oportunidad de difundir vuestro trabajo y de poder crear y/o fortalecer nuevas colaboraciones científicas. \nLos plazos de inscripción son: 20 de diciembre (Early) y 10 de enero (Late)\, con diferentes importes de las cuotas de inscripción (vea las diferentes opciones en el sitio del evento).
