XII BIFI 2025 National Conference from 15 to 17 January 2025.
On this occasion, the conference was held at the facilities of the Institute for Biocomputing and Physics of Complex Systems, in the R&D building of the Río Ebro Campus of the University of Zaragoza, from 15 to 17 January 2025 (https://bifi25.bifi.es/). The inauguration took place with the vice-rector for science policy, Rosa Bolea, and the director of the BIFI, Yamir Moreno.
These national congresses provide unique occasions for participants to share their latest discoveries in the Institute’s diverse research fields: from Physics and Computation to Biophysics, Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology.
As in previous editions of the BIFI National Conferences, this meeting is seen as an important occasion to strengthen our collaborations, foster new connections and collectively advance our research. All BIFI members, especially those in the early stages of their careers, participated intensively and some of them were selected to make oral or poster contributions.
After the three days of talks and knowledge exchanges, the event closed with the awarding of prizes for the best posters. These awards were sponsored by the three companies sponsoring the congress, CerTestBiotec, Kampal DS and Cátedra Exobiopharma de Nanomedicina (UZ).
