International BIFI 2022 Conference: the Science of Covid-19: from molecular drug design to data-driven epidemiological models
The International BIFI 2022 Conference will take place in Zaragoza, in Patio de la Infanta (Ibercaja) from February 1st to 3rd, 2022. On this occasion the Conference will be focused on the Science of Covid-19: from molecular drug design to data-driven epidemiological models
Every two years the Institute organizes an international conference around its research areas. This is the case of 2022 when we will be holding the BIFI 2022 International Conference which will focus around what we could call the Science of Covid-19. As we well know at this time, the subject is highly topical and possibly expected, but given the massive impact to our societies and its relation to the core activities of our institute, it is also natural choice for 2022.
We hope this occasion will serve to consolidate knowledge on the topic, bring new insights and tools to it, and also to fill some gaps and open new research paths. The Conference aims at providing a forum to discuss the latest advances and insights in the study of this pandemic. All topics that fit within the science of COVID-19 from a complexity, biological or interdisciplinary point of view are welcome.
On the website of the event (http://bifi22.bifi.es/) you will find all the necessary information to register, also the Scientific Program, as well as important aspects about the BIFI Institute, the city of Zaragoza, and more.
Registration deadlines will be January 17th, 2022 (Early) and January 31st, 2022 (Late), with different registration fees in each case (see the different options on the event site).
Abstract submission deadline will be December 10th, 2021. Submissions will be evaluated and selected by a Program Committee. Once the selection process is complete, the authors of the accepted abstracts will be notified by e-mail, no later than December 22nd, 2021.
