BIFI researchers publish an important article in the prestigious journal PNAS Nexus
An international study led by researchers from the University of Zaragoza has developed a new model that helps to understand why social networks favour the formation of increasingly polarised groups or environments. The study, coordinated by Professor Yamir Moreno, director of the BIFI Institute and member of the Department of Theoretical Physics, also involved researchers Henrique Ferraz de Arruda, from the ARAID Foundation and member of BIFI, and Kleber Andrade Oliveira from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
